Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Experiencing Lag Issues On PS4, Xbox One, And PC

Star Wars: Battlefront II is experiencing latency issues on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, developer DICE has reported. In a post on the game's forums, DICE said it is aware of the problems that players have brought up, and is "looking into" the matter. The developer didn't give a timeline for when the issues may be addressed, but it said it will give an update on the latest as information becomes available.
It is not clear how widespread Battlefront II's latency issues are. Players have been reporting server lag and other latency problems for a while now, so it's good to know now that DICE is aware of the issues and is working on a fix, however long that may take.
The server lag continues for some even after the release of Battlefront II's first patch last week that DICE said made "major improvements" to the game's stability and performance for all systems. In addition to those changes, DICE already significantly tweaked the credit values to unlock some heroes such as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Additionally, DICE temporarily removed all microtransactions from Battlefront II in the wake of an avalanche of criticism from players.
